Job summary

UFP Milwaukee LLC dba Pak-Rite is seeking an Assembler I in Milwaukee, WI to fabricate component parts and assemble finished products per customer specifications. You will secure parts and maintain supplies required for the operation, ensuring accuracy and quality at every step.

You will set up the work area, apply hand tools as needed, keep the area safe and organized, log production records, and follow safety and quality procedures while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • No minimum experience required; 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic math preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Completes work area setup.
  • Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards.
  • Operates hand tools as required to complete the assembly process.
  • Stacks completed products in accordance with established procedures; may cover, label, and band components finished product.
  • Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized; equipment is safe to operate.
  • Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Maintains production records as required.
  • Checks materials and finished products to ensure they are compliant with standards.
  • Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
  • Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Assembler I is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to the customer's specifications. Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation.
