Using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble machinery.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures
  • Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements to meet Quality Standards
  • Proficient use of equipment required by the job function
  • Adhere to safety, quality, inventory and production guidelines
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor
  • Assemble equipment for final operation
  • Perform troubleshooting as required
  • Explores methods of improving efficiency, speed, and quality of work being done
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of design techniques, tools, and princip les involved in production or precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
  • Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers in addition to understanding fractions and decimals).
  • Possess the ability to read and understand both written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to read basic prints/schematics.
  • Must be able to read and use tape measure, rule and square to fit parts and assemblies .
  • Adhere to safety, quality, inventory and production guidelines
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Group Lead/Supervisor
  • Assemble equipment for final operation
  • Perform troubleshooting as required
  • Explores methods of improving efficiency, speed, and quality of work being done
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
