JOB DETAILS
Base Pay $17.75 + 1
Shift: 2nd shift 3:30 pm to 2:00 am Monday - Thursday, overtime as designated
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Windows Assembler is responsible for assembling, fitting, and installing window components according to company specifications and quality standards. This role involves working with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to ensure accurate and efficient assembly of residential or commercial windows.
Assemble window frames, sashes, screens, and related components following production instructions.
Use hand tools and power tools to cut, fit, and secure materials.
Measure and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy and compliance with product specifications.
Inspect parts and finished products for defects or quality issues; report any discrepancies.
Install hardware such as locks, hinges, balances, and handles.
Read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and blueprints.
Safely operate machinery and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient workflow.
Collaborate with production team members to meet daily output goals.
Perform basic maintenance or troubleshooting on assembly equipment as needed.
Work in fast‑paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, lifting, and using tools or machinery.
Must be exposed to noise, dust, or temperature variations depending on the facility.
Education & Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with Slimline products, a sense of urgency, and must report directly to the group leader while working with Process Tech on projects that improve units per person, on‑time delivery, and quality assurance.
Physical Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in manufacturing, carpentry, construction, or assembly is a plus.
Ability to read measuring tape, follow instructions, and perform basic math.
Skilled with hand tools and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
