Job summary

Novanta in Irvine, CA is seeking an Assembler I to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble electronic products according to specifications, read blueprints and work instructions, and ensure quality control standards are met.

You will collaborate with the manufacturing team, follow safety and ISO procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Prior assembly experience is preferred; basic computer skills and strong attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly experience preferred.
• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions. (English language required.)

Responsibilities

• Assemble varied electronic products, consistently meeting quality standards.
• Perform in-process and final assembly inspections and report potential defects to shift leader or manager.
• Foster a high-performing team environment through daily communication with supervisor and colleagues in all manufacturing areas.
• Work with manufacturing team to meet production schedules, including overtime as required by production needs.
• Provide regular feedback to management regarding potential product and assembly process improvements.
• Comply with all company policies and programs, to include those regarding ethics, conduct, safety, security, ISO, and continuous improvement.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

As an Assembler I, you will be responsible for assembling products according to specifications. You will also need to ensure that the quality control standards are met. Reading and interpreting assembly instructions, blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
Assembling components or sub-assemblies using appropriate tools and following specific guidelines and procedures

Compensation and Benefits

• The base pay for this position is $18.00 to $23.00 per hour depending on the geographic market and experience.
