Job summary

FALCATA in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Assembler I to support its production division. You will perform basic and intricate electronic/electro-mechanical assembly on prototype and production hardware to strict workmanship standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities include wiring engineering models, developing assembly methods, reading wiring lists and schematics, and using hand or power tools to fit components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Production/assembly experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Assists in the development and wiring of engineering models and in the development of assembly methods and wire lists. Uses hand or power tools to trim, shim, cut, and make other adjustments to fit components together and align them properly. May assist in instructing and training lower level assemblers. Reads and interprets wiring lists and assembly drawings and Works to work orders using visual aids, ECN's, and schematics. May perform any rework from test failures in accordance with standard repair procedures and may set up and operate automatic prepping, loading, and insertion equipment. The employee may frequently be required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
