Job summary

Toshiba International Corporation is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Assembler in Houston, TX to perform repetitive subassembly tasks with on-the-job training. The role requires standing and basic lifting as equipment is installed into cabinets and enclosures.

Responsibilities include cabling, following drawings, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Prior related experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided on assembly practices.

• Previous relevant and/or related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Prolonged standing, bending on a concrete floor.
• Mechanical Assembly - lifting, climbing, pulling ability to install equipment into cabinets and enclosures.
• Cabling - bend, route cables per drawing provided.
• Perform the more basic functions to accomplish above tasks.
• Starts assembly with an experienced person as instructor for this position.
• Maintain clean working area.
