Job summary

Stratasys Ltd in Minnesota is seeking an Assembler to assemble printers in accordance with engineering specifications. You will work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions to perform production tasks using a mix of hand tools and air tools.

Adherence to manufacturing procedures and documentation of line data sheets is required, with attention to quality and issue reporting. Prior manufacturing experience and tool handling are a plus; eligibility to work in the United States and

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic reading / writing skills.
  • Ability to understand work instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly of assigned products based on manufacturing product procedures using a combination of hand tools and air tools.
  • Stay current on manufacturing procedures as needed to comply with change product design.
  • Rework product as required following established instructions.
  • Documentation of all line data sheets on individual assigned lines.
  • Identify and report issues with quality and out of specification products.

The Assembler will be responsible for assembling printers in accordance with established manufacturing specifications determined by engineering.

In this role you will work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by your supervisor to perform the production tasks.

What you will be doing:
  • Perform assembly of assigned products based on manufacturing product procedures using a combination of hand tools and air tools
  • Stay current on manufacturing procedures as needed to comply with change product design
  • Rework product as required following established instructions
  • Documentation of all line data sheets on individual assigned lines
  • Identify and report issues with quality and out of specification products

As a part of Stratasys, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Must have for this role:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic reading / writing skills
  • Ability to understand work instructions
Nice to have:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of measurement experience using hand tools
  • 1+ years of experience working with shop equipment
