Job summary

Stratasys Direct Manufacturing in Belton, TX is seeking a Mechanical Inspector I to support quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process. This role will interpret specifications, quality requirements, and purchase orders to ensure products meet customer requirements.

You will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, create NCRs, and maintain quality records. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic use of inspection tools, and strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office.
• Basic use of inspection hand tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection and testing as required by Work Instructions and POs.
• Perform in-process inspection and testing as required by Work Instructions and drawings.
• Perform final inspection and testing as required by Work Instructions and drawings.
• Create NCRs and ensure dispositions are completed.
• Enforce quality standards with focus on customer satisfaction, product accuracy, and on-time deliveries.
• Maintain quality records resulting from inspection/test.
• Participate in 5S activities as assigned.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate Stratasys Behaviors by leading and modeling values.
• Handle other responsibilities as assigned by department or manager.

Stratasys Direct Manufacturing (SDM) is seeking aMechanical Inspector I to support quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials through final product. This role will interpret specifications, quality requirements, and purchase orders to ensure products meet customer requirements.

What you will be doing:

• Perform incoming inspection and testing as required by the Work Instructions and PO’s with an understanding of quality requirements, specification and purchase orders
• Perform in-process inspection and testing as required by the Work Instructions and drawings
• Perform final inspection and testing as required by the Work Instructions and drawings
• Create NCR’s and ensure dispositions are completed
• Enforce company quality standards with special regard to: customer satisfaction; product accuracy and appearance; and on time deliveries
• Assist in maintaining Quality Records resulting from inspection/test
• Participate in 5 “S” activities as assigned
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Demonstrate commitments to Stratasys Behaviors by leading, acting, and modeling these values
• Other Responsibilities as assigned by the department or manager

Must have for this role:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic use of inspection hand tools.
• Computer proficiency with MS Windows, MS Office and software.
• Excellent personal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others

Nice to have:

• Ability to read and understand work orders and other job related documents.
• One or more years of experience in the inspection field
• Previous experience working in a ISO AS 9001 organization
