This role demands attention to detail, a solid foundation in electronic principles, and proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as measuring and testing devices. The technician will engage in calibration, assembly, and adjustment tasks, leveraging ticketing and ERP systems for operational efficiency. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for those with additional technical training. Performs a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairs units or products that have failed to meet requirements. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
High school diploma or equivalent required; further technical or vocational education in electronics, mechanics, or related fields is preferred. Fundamental understanding of electronic principles, logic, schematics, and blueprint reading. Hands-on experience or familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as measuring and testing devices. Basic proficiency in using SAP ERP systems is advantageous. Prior experience in a technical support or electronics repair role is beneficial, though not strictly necessary for candidates with strong foundational skills and the ability to learn quickly.
