Job summary

Terumo Neuro in California is seeking an entry-level assembler to perform the assembly or sub-assembly of medical device products under close supervision from line leaders and supervisors, following manufacturing documents.

You will record data on build records, communicate with leads when issues arise, and work with engineers on special assembly requests while maintaining quality, safety, and a clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Follow manufacturing instructions to assemble products or prototypes as required.
• Record data on build records or prototypes as required.
• Communicate with leads and supervisors when issues related to materials, processes, and/or written procedures are encountered.
• Work with engineers and supervisors to perform special assembly requests.
• Follow all related quality, compliance, and company policies and procedures.
• Understand operations objectives and work with team members to achieve production goals.
• Learn and maintain knowledge to perform at least one manufacturing procedure successfully.
• As directed by leads and supervisors, train other assemblers on certified manufacturing procedures.
• Meet all performance standards and metrics by using time and resources efficiently.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by keeping work area neat and organized.
• Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and demonstrate Ethics and Integrity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Communicate with leads and supervisors when issues related to materials, processes, and/or written procedures are encountered.
• Work with engineers and supervisors to perform special assembly requests.
• Follow all related quality, compliance, and company policies and procedures.
• Understand operations objectives and work with team members to achieve overall production goals.
• Learn and maintain knowledge and skills to perform at least one (1) manufacturing procedure successfully.
• As directed by leads and supervisors, train other assemblers on certified manufacturing procedures.
• Meet all performance standards and metrics by using time and resources efficiently.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by keeping work area in a neat and organized manner.
• Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.

Salary Range:

$17.85/Hour - $21.5/Hour (Financial compensation packages may be higher/lower than listed, & will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand)
