Qualifications

• Experience assembling machines, equipment and subassemblies.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Experience following blueprints and written and verbal instructions to assemble product.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Mathematical skills.
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable squatting, bending, climbing, laying and standing.

Responsibilities

• Plans assembly procedures, following specifications.
• Removes small quantities of metal to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts.
• Drills, taps, or reams holes.
• Aligns components, and bolts, screws, or rivets them together.
• Installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement.
• Bends and installs pipe for hydraulic systems.
• Aligns and meshes components to assemble systems of machines.
• Tests or assists in testing operation of completed product.
• Runs wires through conduit, strips wires, add terminal ends and attach wire to terminals.
• All other duties as assigned.

Summary: Assemble machines, equipment, and their subassemblies following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:

• Plans assembly procedures, following specifications
