Job summary

S&C Electric Company is hiring an Assembler to build IntelliRupters at dedicated stations, handling components and performing basic inspections. You will follow precise assembly prints, use torque wrenches and gauges, and operate hand and power tools as required.

The role is a Monday–Thursday shift with potential overtime on Fridays, offering $20.00 per hour and eligibility for the annual incentive bonus. This position supports critical grid infrastructure with employee ownership benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly operations.
• Ability to use tape measures and basic shop math.
• Ability to use air impact tools and hand-held tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and read assembly prints.
• Mechanical assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble IntelliRupters at multiple stations.
• Transport, install, mount and bolt switch components (5–50 lbs).
• Perform mechanical inspection with torque wrenches and gauges.
• Use hand and power tools and overhead cranes as needed.
