Quanex is seeking an Assembler for the Day Shift at our Sioux Falls, South Dakota location. The role involves routine assembly in a climate-controlled production environment, building window balances, handle sets, and locks.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm, with a broad benefits package and opportunities for growth. Compensation starts at $17.00 per hour with competitive salary and options like 401(k), ESPP, medical/dental/vision, life insurance, and tuition support.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow written, visual, and verbal instructions.
• Operate a computer to fulfill customer orders.
• Utilize machines and other equipment throughout the assembly process.
• Lift and move up to 35 pounds.
• Perform assembly tasks while meeting production standards.
• Adhere to safety rules and quality standards.
• Maintain a good attendance record.
• Cross train in other departments as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
