DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION :This position requires the assembly of parts and use of various hand and power tools. This individual must be able to follow instructions from supervisors and other team leaders and co-workers. This position requires the individual to work at an acceptable pace and keep pace with work demands while assembling a quality product. This individual is responsible for making sure assembly meets company standards.Note: Management reserves the right to modify or revise this job description as changes may occur.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Include but not limited to:Assembles units to meet our QC standardsWork at a safe and productive pace while keeping pace with work demandsFollow instructions when provided in written and verbal formWork by a priority listFollow safety rulesComplete all paperwork relating to the jobs being produced and assembledAbility to work overtime if requiredAbility to use hand and power tools with proficiencyPrioritize work based on direction from the supervisor and team leader’s directionOther duties as assigned by managementENVIRONMENT & WORKING CONDITIONS:Ability to work in all weather conditions as job requires working inside and outside through the course of a single shiftAbility to work in the natural element of heat and cold (production facility is not heated in winter nor cooled in summer)PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work scheduled shiftsAbility to bend, stoop, sit, grasp with hands, feel texture with fingers, cling, walk, twist, stand, and work on concrete for up to twelve hours per day up to six (6) days per weekMust be able to work at heights of greater than 6 feet on a regular basis/as work dictatesAbility to work overtime when necessary/required and with short noticeSKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:PunctualCommunicate clearly with othersMust be familiar with and proficient with the use of hand and power toolsMust be able to read job file orders and enter data efficiently into the tracking systemMust be able to read a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inchSam Carbis is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
