Job summary

Signify is hiring an Assembler in Americus, GA, within Cooper Lighting Solutions, a Signify unit. You will assemble, wire, inspect and test fixtures, entering work orders accurately and performing quality checks on the line. Maintain clean work areas and follow 5S+ practices, while promptly reporting safety concerns.

The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds, standing for long periods, and working Monday–Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Union environment is noted.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work 6am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and stand for up to 8 hours.
• Lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, inspect, test and package fixtures efficiently with minimal defects.
• Enter complete and accurate work order information as required.
• Perform quality checks in line with control plans.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and orderly (5S+).
• Report health, safety concerns and act on safety suggestions.

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as an Assembler in Americus, GA, with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

• Assemble, wire, inspect, test and package fixtures via an assembly line or workbench process efficiently without quality defects
• Enter complete and accurate work order information as required
• Perform quality checks consistent with the inspection and control plans
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain the 5S+ Check sheet (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
• Bring health and safety issues, unsafe acts and safety suggestions to management's attention

Starting Rate of Pay = $15.08
