Delta Star Inc. is looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Assemblers. This role involves a variety of tasks related to the assembly and handling of transformer components. As an Assembler, you’ll assist higher-level assemblers in loading and unloading ovens, operating cranes, setting up stacking tables, and assembling transformer cores and elements. You’ll be involved in tasks such as applying epoxy to cores, landing coils, attaching leads, and using both hand and power tools. Additionally, you’ll help manage inventory, assist in tanking and finaling, and operate equipment like man lifts and forklifts.
As an Assembler, you’ll work closely with your team to ensure that transformer components are assembled efficiently and correctly. You’ll help set up workstations, stack cores, apply insulation, and assist in wrapping leads. Operating cranes, man lifts, and forklifts will also be part of your role, as well as conducting pre-operation inspections to ensure safety. Throughout the day, you’ll apply safety practices and maintain a positive, collaborative attitude with your colleagues.
