Overview

Chandler operates five divisions, including four in Minnesota—Blaine, Long Prairie, Montevideo, and Wyoming—and one in Chihuahua, Mexico. We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our Blaine facility. In this role, you’ll assemble sub-components and final products, working with a variety of tools, equipment, and processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Available shifts: First shift (Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM) and Second shift (Monday through Thursday 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM) with a 10% shift differential.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble a variety of components and sub-assemblies to meet specifications.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and final assembly operations.
  • Perform riveting operations to assemble components according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Operate insertion and grill press equipment to install hardware components accurately and efficiently per specifications.
  • Work from blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and fixtures to complete assemblies.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of your work throughout the process.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards).
  • Follow all safety guidelines including PPE and OSHA requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Basic math skills, including measurements and unit conversions.
  • Experience using hand tools such as drills, torque wrenches, calipers, and screwdrivers.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Comfortable working in an industrial environment (noise, tools, solvents, etc.).
Additional Details
  • Exposure to sealants, solvents and typical manufacturing conditions.
  • Experience working in the Aerospace, Medical or other highly regulated industry.
  • Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Person status required).
