Job summary

Hunter Engineering Company in Bridgeton, MO is seeking an Assembler - B to join our manufacturing team. The role involves assembling metal products at a bench or on the shop floor, ensuring parts fit and function per blueprints, and using hand and power tools.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7 am–3:30 pm. The company offers a profit-sharing plan, generous PTO/holidays, tuition reimbursement, and an onsite fitness center as part of benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in calibration of final units and other electronic, electrical, or mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read simple blueprints.
• Ability to follow directions and have attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products by fastening parts together using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Operate hand tools or portable power tools to assist in the assembly operation.
• Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled and/or following blueprints.
• Remove small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
• Frequent standing, lifting, and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
• Additional duties as assigned.
