Job summary

Hunter Engineering Company in Bridgeton, MO is seeking an Assembly - B to build metal products on the shop floor. Work at a bench or on the shop floor with standard assembly duties and tools.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The role requires reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and lifting up to 50 lbs. A high school diploma is required along with experience in calibration of final units and related assemblies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in calibration of final units and other electronic, electrical, or mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read simple blueprints.
• Ability to follow directions and have attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products by fastening parts together using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Operate hand tools or portable power tools to assist in the assembly operation.
• Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled and/or following blueprints.
• Remove small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
• Frequent standing, lifting, and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
• Additional duties as assigned.
