Position Overview

Wieland is hiring an Assembler/Equipment Operator I. The responsibilities include ensuring components are machined and finished as per detailed drawings and procedures, while meeting quality standards. The role requires flexibility to manage varying duties. Location: Delaware, Ohio. This is a full on-site position.

Compensation & Schedule

Starting Pay: $19.00 - 21.00
Schedule: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Pay Schedule: Biweekly

Responsibilities

1. Following production orders, company procedures, and supervisor instructions to prepare parts and assemble components.
2. Performing assembly operations using power tools or specialized equipment to produce pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
3. Preparing parts for assembly through grinding, blasting, cutting, etc.
4. Executing assembly according to procedures and documents, ensuring quality and safety standards.
5. Maintaining equipment through preventative maintenance.
6. Proposing new methods, procedures, or equipment to improve efficiency or quality.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED required.
2. Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods.
3. Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds regularly.
4. Proficiency with standard hand and power tools.
5. Proactive in proposing solutions.
6. Good verbal communication skills.
7. Understanding of fractions, decimals, and measurement techniques.
