Job summary

Sears Seating is seeking a Team Assembler to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will assemble components and subassemblies following standard work, meet daily production goals, and help maintain quality and safety standards.

The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Overtime and shift changes may be required to meet production needs.

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

• Basic computer skills for entering production data or navigating simple systems (e.g., barcoding, D365/ERP basics).
• Ability to stand, walk, and/or lift up to specified weight amounts for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and equipment according to work instructions.
• Follow standardized processes, work orders, and engineering specifications to ensure consistent product quality.
• Perform visual inspections of parts and finished goods to identify defects or deviations.
• Meet daily production targets for quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Communicate issues related to materials, equipment, or processes to the Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S and safety guidelines.
• Use basic computer systems or scanners to record work completed or move inventory, as required.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities such as process improvement discussions.
• Rotate across multiple workstations as required to meet production needs.
• Follow all safety policies, including proper PPE usage, machine guarding, and safe lifting practices.

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and temperature variations.
• Requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, grasping, and lifting.
• Will require overtime, weekend work, or shift changes based on production needs.
