Job summary

Apex Tool Group in Jonesboro, AR is seeking a 3rd shift Assembler for our Jonesboro facility. Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM to 6:00 AM, onsite with excellent benefits starting on day one, PTO and holidays, and a shift premium.

You will read schematics and assemble components, maintain safety and quality, and support production goals. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to work overtime, and able to stand for long periods while lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be fast-paced and detail oriented.
• Must be able to work overtime hours (over 40 hours weekly and Saturdays) as required.

Responsibilities

• Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
• Read schematics, blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Position or align components manually or with hoists.
• Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
• Maintain work area and equipment, including tools.
• Prepare parts lists and subassemblies from templates or measurements.
• Assemble components and verify connections for fit and finish.
• Measure completed components to verify specifications.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels.
• Adhere to company policies to ensure quality.

Opportunity available for a 3rd shift Assembler in our Jonesboro, AR facility. Work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:30 PM to 6:00 AM.

The Build (Responsibilities)

• Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
• Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Positions or aligns components and parts, either manually or with hoists.
• Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
• Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.
• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies by templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
• Maintains inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to produce a quality product/service.
• Report unusual conditions or questionable items to supervisor.
• Obey all safety rules and regulations.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Maintain records as required.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and walk continuously for 8-10 hours, if necessary.
