Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions seeks an Assembly Technician (Assembler 3) in Sparks, MD to perform production assembly on electronic and mechanical components, following wiring, component installation, hand soldering and fitting procedures.

Responsibilities include quality inspections, troubleshooting instrument assembly issues, training associates, and maintaining GMP-compliant, safe work practices in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years manufacturing experience, or AA technical degree with 1 year experience.
• Experience in a regulated environment required.

Job Description

• Perform a wide variety of assigned tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies.
• Determine and follow methods and sequences for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and fitting on assembly units.
• Conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues associated with instrument assembly operations.
• Provide training to associates in mechanical and basic testing activities as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment through all housekeeping responsibilities.
• Demonstrate the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Critical Information

• Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, M-F
• Must have reliable transportation; location is not near public transit.
• Safety shoes are required.

Education/Licenses Needed

• High school degree or GED required, with 3 years manufacturing experience, or an AA technical degree with 1 year experience.
• Experience in a regulated environment required.
