Job summary

KPS Global LLC, a leading provider of insulated panel systems for walk-ins and enclosures, is seeking an Assembler to build fabricated parts under supervision in a production setting.

You will read diagrams, assemble sub-assemblies, operate hand tools, inspect quality, and maintain 5S standards, with opportunities for growth in a safety-focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk on concrete for the full shift.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch during tasks.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and basic diagrams.
• Basic ability to read, speak, and understand English is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Code of Conduct requirements.
• Assemble sub-assemblies and install components; perform basic electrical connections per diagrams.
• Inspect finished products to meet quality, engineering, and customer specs.
• Operate hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic tools, per procedures.
• Load/unload/move materials using lifting equipment when available; maintain workspace.
• Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints to position material correctly.
• Complete paperwork such as checklists, stamps, and bill of materials and ensure accurate shipping docs.
• Maintain 5S standards and keep departmental organization.

Job Summary

The Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated parts under general supervision in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This role ensures KPS Global meets quality, safety, and productivity standards and satisfies customer requirements.

Major Responsibilities

• Performing duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirements


• Assembling sub-assemblies and installing accessory components and materials; wiring basic electrical connections per applicable diagram


• Inspecting product to conform to quality, engineering, and customer requirements


• Operating hand tools including electrical and pneumatic power tools


• Loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials and product utilizing lifting equipment when available


• Reading and interpreting job orders, diagrams, and/or blueprints to select and position material and accessory components


• Completing and maintaining all associated electronic processes paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding and shipping materials


• Maintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standards

Required Experience

• GED or High School Diploma preferred


• 1 - 3 years of manufacturing or construction experience


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints


• Basic math and reading comprehension skills


• Ability to read a tape measure


• Basic ability to read, speak, and understand English
