Job summary

KPS Global in Goodyear, AZ is seeking an Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble sub-assemblies, read blueprints, and install components while following quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities include wiring basic electrical connections, inspecting products, using hand tools, and maintaining 5S housekeeping. GED or HS diploma preferred; 1–3 years of manufacturing or construction experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk on concrete for the full shift.
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs with or without assistance.
• Able to climb and balance as required.
• Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Basic reading/writing and comprehension in English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies and install accessories and materials; wire basic electrical connections per diagrams.
• Inspect product to meet quality, engineering, and customer requirements.
• Operate hand tools including electrical and pneumatic power tools.
• Load, unload, and move materials using lifting equipment when available.
• Read diagrams/blueprints to position material and components.
• Complete and maintain paperwork such as checklists, blueprints, and barcodes.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping in the department.

Job Summary

The Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated parts under general supervision in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This role ensures KPS Global meets quality, safety, and productivity standards and satisfies customer requirements.

Major Responsibilities

• Performing duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirements


• Assembling sub-assemblies and installing accessory components and materials; wiring basic electrical connections per applicable diagram


• Inspecting product to conform to quality, engineering, and customer requirements


• Operating hand tools including electrical and pneumatic power tools


• Loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials and product utilizing lifting equipment when available


• Reading and interpreting job orders, diagrams, and/or blueprints to select and position material and accessory components


• Completing and maintaining all associated electronic processes paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding and shipping materials


• Maintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standards

Required Experience

• GED or High School Diploma preferred


• 1 - 3 years of manufacturing or construction experience


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints


• Basic math and reading comprehension skills


• Ability to read a tape measure


• Basic ability to read, speak, and understand English
