Torrey Holistics in Decatur, AL is seeking an assembler to build hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. You will follow engineering specs, use calipers and micrometers, and perform tests to verify performance and safety.
This hands-on role requires manual dexterity, a mechanical background, and the ability to read blueprints. You will collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain quality while meeting production targets in a clean, safe workspace.
The Assembler is responsible for building and assembling hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders in accordance with engineering specifications, work instructions, and quality standards. This position involves hands-on assembly of components, including seals, pistons, rods, and tubes, as well as inspection and testing to ensure proper function and durability. The Assembler will work closely with production and quality teams to meet customer requirements, maintain efficiency, and ensure a safe, organized work environment. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing high-quality products are essential to success in this role.
