Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope (OBE) is seeking an Assembler to build doors and frames, reporting to the Production Supervisor. The role focuses on safety, quality, and efficiency while contributing to a team that fabricates architectural glass and building products.

You will read job specs, set up machines, drill, cut, measure, and inspect parts to meet prints and schedules. A detail-oriented, reliable, and collaborative mindset helps you thrive in our fast-paced fabrication department.

Qualifications

• Experience using power tools and machinery in fabrication.
• Able to read fabrication drawings and perform basic math.
• Read a tape measure to 1/16 inch and verify dimensions.
• Multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with team and communicate clearly with peers and management.
• Maintain a safety-first approach in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general fabrication and assembly of doors using hand and power tools.
• Drill holes and prepare materials according to work orders, fabrication sheets, and schedules.

The Assembler role is focused on building doors and frames and reports to the Production Supervisor.
