Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking an Assembler for the 3rd shift to fabricate and assemble architectural aluminum products to customer specifications. You will work with various tools, follow drawings, and contribute to a high-quality product in a team-driven environment.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and flexibility, with opportunities for overtime and advancement within a large, global building products company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret basic measurements and use a tape measure to 1/32.
• Ability to work safely with hand tools.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and use a computer.
• Ability to work well in a team with a positive attitude.

What You'll Get to Do

The Assembler is focused on fabricating and assembling architectural aluminum products to customer specifications. Additional duties may include welding, using hand tools and packing products. This role is perfect for an individual who is very detail-oriented (quality, efficiency), a team player with a strong work ethic, and highly flexible. A vital member of the Custom Entrances Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

• Full Time – 3rd shift - 10 hours (6:00 PM – 4:30 AM - Monday- Thursday)

Job responsibilities include

• Reading and following specification documents provided.
• Fabricating and assembling architectural aluminum products with various tools and machinery
• Inspecting aluminum for various quality flaws
• Usage of drill guns and hand tools
• Proper packaging of products
• Follow company quality standards and standard operating procedures

What We Are Looking For

• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and accurately read a tape measure to 1/32
• Must be able to work safely with hand tools
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions, follow verbal directions and use computers proficiently
• Ability to work cooperatively with others as part of a team
• Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Must be willing to cross-train and work in other areas as assigned
• High School Diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, bend, twist, carry, walk and reach frequently
• Ability to lift/move 50+ pounds intermittently
• Ability to stand and walk on a concrete floor, wearing steel-toed shoes with metatarsal guards and other personal, protective safety equipment for 8 to 10 hours per day
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment without temperature or humidity control
• Participate in pre-shift stretching routines
