Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Texas is seeking an Assembler to build doors and frames within the Fabrication Department. You'll read specs, set up equipment, and work safely to meet production goals.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to use hand and power tools; you will be part of a team that fabricates high-quality architectural glass and metal components.

Qualifications

• Experience using power tools, machinery and reading a tape measure (to 1/16\).

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Perform general fabrication and assembly of doors using hand and power tools.
• Drill holes and prepare materials according to work orders, fabrication sheets, and schedules.
• Measure workpiece dimensions and conduct quality inspections to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure parts meet specifications by following prints, worksheets, and shop drawings while completing tasks with minimal supervision.
