Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking an Assembler 2 to join the Sensor Department and assemble and test units. You will work with electronics, electro-mechanical and mechanical components to build sub-assemblies to spec.

You will follow wiring schemes, install components, hand-solder and harness cables, and perform set-ups while maintaining blueprint tolerances. There may be testing tasks and quality checks as part of the role.

• Experience with Windows-based computers.

• Performing a wide variety of electronic, Electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies
• Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units
• Make set‑ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications
• May be responsible for testing equipment and products
