Eaton in Wisconsin is seeking an Assembler – 1st Shift (Regulators) to build voltage regulators in a continuous flow environment. You will follow work instructions, use calibrated tools, and support inspection and testing steps to ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble all types of voltage regulators in a continuous flow environment to meet customer service requirements.
• Build the product per work instructions and quality standards with calibrated tooling.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality and shipping to ensure on-time completion and shipment.
• Conduct ratio testing and troubleshoot potential problems.
• Move units using overhead cranes and power industrial vehicles.
• Repair units and components that fail test or are defective.
• Participate in teardown, repair, and modification of customer-supplied equipment as directed.
• Troubleshoot as needed throughout the process.
• Cross-train in various stations within the Regulators department.

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking an Assembler – 1st Shift (Regulators). The hourly rate is $24.45 per hour for the 7 am – 3 pm shift, with overtime as required.

Responsibilities

Assemble all types of voltage regulators in a continuous flow environment to meet customer service requirements. Perform job functions at an acceptable level of efficiency and quality, and assist team members as needed.

• Follow standard work and 5S, perform a visual inspection of the previous operation, and construct and test all types of tap changers using standard work.
• Build the product per work instructions and quality standards with calibrated tooling (pneumatic tools, power tools, hand tools, etc.).
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and shipping to ensure products are completed and shipped on time.
• Conduct ratio testing and troubleshoot any potential problems.
• Move units using overhead cranes and power industrial vehicles.
• Repair units and components that fail test or are defective.
• Participate in teardown, repair, and modification of customer‑supplied equipment as directed by engineering or quality departments.
• Troubleshoot as needed throughout the process.
• Cross‑train in various stations within the Regulators department.
