Overview
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking an Assembler - 1st Shift (Regulators). The position offers a pay rate of $24.45 per hour with shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Overtime may be required at times.
Salary is based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Responsibilities
- Produce all types of Voltage Regulators in a continuous flow environment to meet customer service requirements
- Follow standard work and 5S, perform visual inspection of the previous operation, and construct and test all types of tap changers using standard work
- Build product per work instructions and quality standards using calibrated tooling (pneumatic, power, and hand tools)
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and shipping to ensure on-time completion and shipment
- Conduct ratio testing and troubleshoot issues to complete tests
- Move units with overhead cranes and power industrial vehicles
- Repair units and components that have failed tests or require changes
- Participate in teardown, repair, and modification of customer-supplied equipment as directed by engineering or quality teams
- Troubleshoot as needed throughout the process
- Cross-train in various stations within the Regulators department
Qualifications
- Required: Minimum of 6 months of experience or education in assembly, manufacturing, or the military
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
- No relocation benefit is being offered; candidate must reside within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI (Active-Duty Military Service members are exempt from geographic limitation)
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
