Eaton Corporation is seeking an Assembler - 1st Shift (Regulators) in Wisconsin. The role involves producing voltage regulators in a continuous flow, following standard work, and testing components to meet customer needs.

You will use calibrated tools and collaborate with engineering, quality, and shipping to ensure on-time delivery. Opportunities exist to cross-train across stations and progress within the Regulators department.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience or education in assembly, manufacturing, or the military.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
• Residence within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI; relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Produce all types of Voltage Regulators in a continuous flow environment to meet customer service requirements.
• Follow standard work and 5S, inspect the previous operation, and test/tap changers using standard work.
• Assemble per work instructions using calibrated tooling (pneumatic, power, and hand tools).
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and shipping to ensure on-time completion and shipment.
• Move units with overhead cranes and troubleshoot/test to resolve issues.
• Cross-train in various stations within the Regulators department.

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking an Assembler - 1st Shift (Regulators). The position offers a pay rate of $24.45 per hour with shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Overtime may be required at times.

Salary is based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Responsibilities

• Produce all types of Voltage Regulators in a continuous flow environment to meet customer service requirements
• Follow standard work and 5S, perform visual inspection of the previous operation, and construct and test all types of tap changers using standard work
• Build product per work instructions and quality standards using calibrated tooling (pneumatic, power, and hand tools)
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and shipping to ensure on-time completion and shipment
• Conduct ratio testing and troubleshoot issues to complete tests
• Move units with overhead cranes and power industrial vehicles
• Repair units and components that have failed tests or require changes
• Participate in teardown, repair, and modification of customer-supplied equipment as directed by engineering or quality teams
• Troubleshoot as needed throughout the process
• Cross-train in various stations within the Regulators department

Qualifications

• Required: Minimum of 6 months of experience or education in assembly, manufacturing, or the military
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
• No relocation benefit is being offered; candidate must reside within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI (Active-Duty Military Service members are exempt from geographic limitation)

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
