SPX Technologies is a global manufacturer of HVAC and detection and measurement solutions. This position is within the Electric Heat business, which designs and manufactures electric heating and ventilation systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

Job Summary

Assembler – assembles heater unit product codes, fabricates required components, and installs electrical systems according that the work order, blueprint, and engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lay out diagrams for electrical installations according to wiring specifications.
• Drill and tap holes in specified locations for mounting control units.
• Attach breakers, relays, connectors, bus bars, transformers, and insulators.
• Paint product as necessary.
• Install and wire thermostats and other options.
• Fabricate bussing and solder connections.
• Test and adjust electrical components.
• Discuss errors in diagrams or production orders with supervision or engineering to clarify assembly problems.
