Job summary

Job Store Staffing is seeking qualified Assembly Technicians for our Custom Manufacturing client in Colorado Springs. Location: Fountain, CO. Pay Range: $17.00 – $23.00 / hour.

Shift Opportunities: 1st Shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; 2nd Shift 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM. You will use hand tools to trim, route, drill, rivet, bond and weld thermoplastic parts to meet blueprint requirements and traveler specifications, assembling detail parts or assemblies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Stable and steady work history with at least one year of work experience.
• Ability to stand or walk extensively.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain production and operate necessary equipment.
• Learn plastic weld skills and become certified in plastic welding.
• Record production data.
• Clean work areas.
• Regular quality inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

In this position you will be utilizing a variety of hand tools for trimming, routing, drilling, riveting, bonding and welding of thermoplastic parts to satisfy blueprint customer and traveler requirements to produce detail parts or assemblies.

Essential Duties

• Requires the setup and operation of some minor equipment to satisfy the requirement when no tooling is furnished and the use of some inspection tools
• Work cooperatively and efficiently with others
• Ability to use a variety of adhesives, rivets, nut plates, fasteners, nomex, foam, etc
• Apply Part Seal Coating: measure and mis; apply; cure; inspect
• Bond Parts: Mix adhesive; apply adhesive; correct usage of bonding fixtures; cure; repair
