Job summary

Accelera in El Paso, TX seeks a contract Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will learn and perform production tasks in the medical device and pharmaceutical space, operate machinery and pallet jacks, and ensure compliance with SOPs, ISO, FDA, and OSHA standards.

You must maintain a tidy, safe work environment, participate in safety training, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Flexibility to work overtime and various tasks as needed is expected.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team in El Paso, TX for a contract position.

Core Responsibilities

• Learn and execute production tasks within the medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing space.
• Safely utilize and care for production machinery, hand tools, and pallet jacks.
• Ensure compliance with all established standard operating procedures, ISO, FDA, and OSHA regulatory requirements.
• Manage the transport of materials while verifying accurate chemical labeling and storage protocols.
• Contribute to a tidy, structured, and safe production environment for all staff.
• Utilize necessary safety gear and promptly communicate any environmental or safety hazards.
• Finish all mandatory operator and regulatory certification courses.
• Support process optimization and quality enhancement through active participation in improvement initiatives.
• Remain flexible to support extra shifts and various tasks as business needs arise.

Required Qualifications

• Possession of a GED or high school diploma.
• At least four months of prior experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Fundamental proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Demonstrated capacity to adhere to safety guidelines and standardized operational workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing machinery.
• Proficiency in using pallet jacks or hand jacks.
• Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• High level of precision and attention to detail.
