Job summary

Oldcastle Building Envelope in Newnan, GA, is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to fabricate and assemble architectural aluminum products to customer specifications. You will work in the Custom Entrances Department, reading specifications, operating tools and machinery, and ensuring quality workmanship.

This full-time, 3rd shift role offers overtime opportunities, advancement potential, and training to develop skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and read a tape measure to 1/32".
• Must be able to work safely with hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions, follow verbal directions and use computers proficiently.

The Assembler is focused on fabricating and assembling architectural aluminum products to customer specifications. Additional duties may include welding, using hand tools and packing products. This role is perfect for an individual who is very detail-oriented (quality, efficiency), a team player with a strong work ethic, and highly flexible. A vital member of the Custom Entrances Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

What We Are Looking For

• Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Must be willing to cross-train and work in other areas as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, bend, twist, carry, walk and reach frequently
• Ability to lift/move 50+ pounds intermittently
• Ability to stand and walk on a concrete floor, wearing steel-toed shoes with metatarsal guards and other personal, protective safety equipment for 8 to 10 hours per day
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment without temperature or humidity control
• Participate in pre-shift stretching routines
