Kratos C5ISR is seeking an assembler to prepare products for final release, ensuring quality and cost effectiveness. You will assemble components per documented instructions and blueprints, operate a range of hand and power tools, and assist with installations and modifications on a busy shop floor.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and complying with safety and PPE guidelines in a demanding manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of related assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and routings.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

The Assembler is responsible for preparing products for the final release to the customer and achieving quality and integrity of products at the lowest possible cost.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies using verbal and written instructions, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation.
• Proficient in operating a variety of tools and equipment, including rivet guns, drills, sanders, grinders, routers, and other specialized tooling as required.
• Use appropriate tools and fixtures to assist with the installation or complete the installation of parts, sub-assemblies, and modifications.
• Interpret blueprints, routings, tape measurements, and decimal-to-fraction conversion to ensure accurate assembly.

• Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion (rotating wrists, keyboarding, using small/large tools).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to tolerate constant noise (machine motors - large fans).
• Ability to work safely in the presence of hazardous chemicals and hazardous conditions.
• Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
