You will assemble components and sub-assemblies following blueprints and documentation to support mission-critical defense projects.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience, a high school diploma, and proficiency with common assembly tools such as rivet guns, drills, sanders, grinders, and routers.

General Job Summary

The Assembler is responsible for preparing products for the final release to customers and achieving product quality and integrity at the lowest possible cost.

Essential Job Functions

• Assemble components and sub‑assemblies using verbal and written instructions, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation.
• Proficient in operating a variety of tools and equipment, including rivet guns, drills, sanders, grinders, routers, and other specialized tooling as required.
• Use appropriate tools and fixtures to assist with the installation or complete the installation of parts, sub‑assemblies, and modifications.
• Interpret blueprints, routings, tape measurements, and decimal‑to‑fraction conversion to ensure accurate assembly.
• Serve as a resource for Assembler 1 team members by providing technical guidance and training as needed.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Shop floor environment / shared workbench or workstation.
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion (rotating wrists, keyboarding, using small/large tools).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to tolerate constant noise (machine motors – large fans).
• Ability to work safely in the presence of hazardous chemicals and hazardous conditions.
• Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
