Job summary

Assa Abloy Fenestration is seeking a dedicated assembler for the Off-line and 4-bar areas. You will assemble parts per customer specifications, operate punch presses and air press equipment, and ensure quality through daily checks.

Work is in a fast-paced environment with a daytime-to-evening shift. Candidates should be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, reading simple blue prints, and maintaining a clean, safe workstation.

Qualifications

• Good manual dexterity and basic math skills.
• Ability to read blue prints is a plus.
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assemble finished products in the off-line or 4-bar area according to specs.
• Perform general hand assembly and operate punch presses.
• Label, package, and prepare materials for shipment.
• Maintain clean workstations and document safety checks.
• Assist teammates and follow job instructions.

JOB SUMMARY:

Assembling finished product in Off-line assembly area or 4-bar area according to customer specification and company policies.

Hours

Monday-Thursday; 3:30pm-2am

Essential Job Functions And Accountabilities

• Performing general hand assembly
• Operating Bench Master punch press
• Operate air press assembly
• Work in butt hinge assembly, which involves installing bushing, pin installation, using hand and air assembly with a two hand trip machine
• Operating various two hand trip machines to finish pieces through hand assembly
• Packaging of materials with proper labeling to be shipped
• You must strive to meet daily quotas for the various functions
• Ensure quality checks are performed and documented
• Perform daily safety checks and document
• Perform job duties in a safe manner
• Maintains workstation in neat and clean condition.
• Assists other workers with specific tasks as requested.
• Ability to read and follow job instructions
