Job summary

Everidge is seeking a hands-on assembler to join its manufacturing team. You will perform repetitive assembly work, using hand and power tools to build units to completion.

The role requires a high school education and up to one month of related experience; lifting heavy objects, operating a forklift, and crane functions may be involved. This is an on-site position with a safety-minded production floor environment.

Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Up to one month related experience or training.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and work safely around heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble units to completion on the production line.
  • Operate press brake and automatic fastener machine.
  • Use overhead cranes and forklifts as required.
  • Perform carpentry-related tasks as needed.
  • Install lights and wiring and any other duties assigned by supervision.

$1,000 Hiring BONUS!!JOB SUMMARY and KEY OBJECTIVES:Performs repetitive work station or line assembly operations and assembles units to completion.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS:Ensures any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.Operates press brake to assemble sheets.Operates automatic fastener machine to secure lining to side walls.Operates index machinePerforms carpenter related work.Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes.Installs lights and wiring.Operates fork lift as required.Operates any equipment needed to perform job.Performs related duties as needed by supervision.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:High school education, and up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.PHYSICAL EFFORTAbility to do heavy liftingAbility to climb a ladderFull range of physical motion throughout the torsoAbility to stand for extended periods of time with periodic break periodsAbility to work safely around heavy equipment mechanical devices
