Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Auburn, WA is seeking candidates to operate equipment for door production and perform on-line assembly and quality inspections. The role includes material handling, machining doors for hardware installation, staging finished goods, and general warehouse duties.

A clean, safe work environment and adherence to safety rules are expected. Preferred candidates have experience in woodworking, manufacturing or warehouse settings, with basic math and ability to use

Qualifications

• Past experience in commercial woodworking such as doors, millwork or cabinets.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred.
• General knowledge of building materials is advantageous.
• Ability to perform simple math and use basic measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines for door production on both small and large scales.
• Assemble doors on the production line and inspect for quality.
• Machining doors for hardware installation and prepare materials.
• Handle staging, packing and delivery readiness of finished goods.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.

Job description

Job Summary:

• 1. Operate small and large machines in the production of doors
• 2. Work on door assembly line building doors
• 3. Inspect all product for quality
• 4. Machining doors for hardware installation
• 5. Material preparation and material handling
• 6. Staging and packaging finished product for delivery
• 7. Other general warehouse duties as needed
• 8. In all functions, maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety rules

Preferred Experience:

• 1. Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.)
• 2. Past experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
• 3. General knowledge of building materials
• 4. Can perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools

Schedule: Mon-Thur 6:00am-3:00pm; Fri: 6:00am-12:00pm

Pay: $21.30/hr
