Job summary

Western Enterprises, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking an assembler in Westlake, OH. The role involves working on an assembly line and sometimes individually, with emphasis on safety, quality, and accuracy. You will wear PPE, follow manuals, and coordinate with line leads to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic computer concepts and usage.
• Able to work with small parts and tools.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of an assembly group on an assembly line.
• Work individually when needed.
• Wear PPE properly.
• Fill out daily, weekly, and monthly PMs.
• Report any nonconformity to line leads.
• Follow simple cleaning chores.
• Check calibration due dates daily.
• Understand and follow production and test methods.
• Pull parts as needed for assembly.
• Follow production routes, bills of material and prints.
• Operate hydraulic or manual presses and other simple machines in assembly.
• Follow and maintain employee handbook.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory procedures.
• Know location of Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Follow all safety rules and requirements.
• Fill out daily labor cards correctly and completely.
• Observe working hour schedules.
• Cross-train as needed.
• Keep surrounding areas clean and organized.

What You’ll Do:

• Work as a member of a group in an assembly line

• Properly fill out Daily, Weekly, and Monthly P.M.

• Able to work standing for a long period of time
• Able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds, perform repetitive work.
• Able to work with a team and cross train in different areas on the production line.
