Job summary

Western Enterprises in Avon Lake, OH is seeking an Assembler to join our manufacturing team on the Avon Lake line. You will build and test components on an assembly line, following blueprints, routings, and BOMs, and operate presses and simple machinery under safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer knowledge, strong math skills, and good teamwork. You must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stay aligned with 5S and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Work on an assembly line to build products according to specifications.
• Read and interpret production routings, blueprints, and bills of material.
• Operate hydraulic/manual presses and simple assembly machinery.
• Pull parts and materials needed for assembly tasks.
• Complete accurate labor documentation and inventory tracking.
• Maintain clean and orderly workstations per safety and 5S standards.
• Participate in cross-training and support other assembly tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols, including PPE and MSDS.
• Adhere to work schedules including start/end times, breaks, and cleanup.
