Job summary

The Legacy Companies, LLC is seeking an assembler to support the production line in a fast-paced facility in Virginia. The role involves assembling plastic and metal components, wiring as needed, and adding order-specific accessories to meet customer requirements.

Candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks, lift up to 25 pounds, and stand for extended periods while contributing to a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

  • Assembles plastic and metal components using hands, fingers, and pneumatic tools into a finished product.
  • Connects electrical components as required depending on the configuration of the order.
  • Installs accessories as needed, such as racks, doors, literature, etc. to fulfill the order requirements.
  • Installs all packaging materials and places the finished unit into photo boxes and/or brown cardboard boxes.
  • Places cardboard boxes on the taping machine and stacks on pallets.
  • Uses a hand operated pallet jack to move the full pallet to the shipping area without damaging.

Position Overview

The Assembler will be responsible for assembly line tasks, as well as identifying areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Assembles plastic and metal components using hands, fingers, and pneumatic tools into a finished product.
  • Connects electrical components as required depending on the configuration of the order.
  • Installs accessories as needed, such as racks, doors, literature, etc. to fulfill the order requirements.
