Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Provides leadership and support to employees and management in the completion of tasks dedicated to processing product through the Wax Assembly and Molding department. Responsible for meeting product schedules and product requirements applicable to all Work Instructions, Engineering Change Orders and standard procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Maintain safe working area; ensure that employees are working in a safe, productive, and efficient manner utilizing proper safety procedures.
2. Communicate work issues with employees; provide feedback to department supervisor as to team members' performance and product completion.
3. Provide new hire training and on-going training for Level I and Level II Wax Assemblers.
4. Assemble wax patterns and gating components to the current revision levels.
5. Perform cross inspection of other assemblers work.
6. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1. Working knowledge of and demonstrated skill in performing all functions of a Level 2 Wax Assembler.
2. Ability to read and interpret process documents, operating instructions, training manuals. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with employees at all levels.
3. Ability to process assemblies to the quality and productivity standards of the department.
4. Ability to effectively train personnel to become both Level 1 and Level 2 Assemblers.
5. Ability to organize work, direct team members, problem solve, and manage multiple tasks.
6. Ability to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years experience as a Level 2 Wax Assembler.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to sit, stand, crouch, possess vision requirements to use equipment. Ability to exert up to 35 pounds of force to move objects on a repetitive basis. Ability to work in conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures
