Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Aiken, SC seeks an Assembler for off-shift to join our Power Systems unit. You will inspect engine assemblies and components, report findings using QFL and SAP, and support corrective actions while maintaining QFL processes.

This role requires handling parts in salvage areas and ensuring calibration and tool readiness. Ideal candidates have at least three years in durable goods manufacturing, with blueprint reading skills, torque equipment experience, and strong PC

Responsibilities

• Inspect engine assembly quality and report findings using the QFL System and SAP.
• Inspect engine component quality and report findings using the QFL System and SAP.
• Support and guide assembly corrective actions to QFL findings.
• Maintain QFL system.
• Support gauge and tool calibration process.
• Manage parts on salvage area carts and start QFL process.
• Generate QFL cards and list details and pictures from the reject part.

What you will be doing?

Basic Requirements

• Three years of experience in a durable goods assembly or manufacturing environment. “Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.”

Preferred Requirements

• Intermediate blueprint reading skills with a high attention to detail
• Intermediate knowledge and experience with torque equipment and standard measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers ,and gage blocks
• Intermediate PC knowledge and the ability to efficiently operate computer terminals and scanning devices
• Intermediate typing and MS office skills
• Basic knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and the ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards

Mental & Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull weights in the 20-60lbs.

Pay Range

Pay ranges for remote employees are based on the state where the employee resides and may vary from the posted range. $21.23 - $31.84-Hourly Location: Graniteville, SC
