Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Aiken, SC is seeking an Assembler for off-shift work. This full-time role operates Sunday to Wednesday, 8:00pm-6:30am, at the Aiken, SC site with no relocation sponsorship available.

You will inspect engine assemblies and components, support corrective actions, maintain the QFL system, and participate in gauge/tool calibration and parts salvage processes. The role requires hands-on fabrication experience and attention to detail within a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• 3 years of durable goods assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Inspects engine assembly quality and reports findings using the QFL System and SAP.
• Inspects engine component quality and reports findings using the QFL system and SAP.
• Supports and guides assembly corrective actions to QFL findings.
• Responsible for maintaining QFL system.
• Supports gauge and tool calibration process.
• Responsible for managing parts on salvage area carts and start QFL process.
• Generates QFL cards and lists details and pictures from the reject part.

Basic Requirements

• Three years of experience in a durable goods assembly or manufacturing environment.

Preferred Requirements

• Intermediate blueprint reading skills with a high attention to detail
• Intermediate knowledge and experience with torque equipment and standard measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers ,and gage blocks
• Intermediate PC knowledge and the ability to efficiently operate computer terminals and scanning devices
• Intermediate typing and MS office skills
• Basic knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and the ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards

Mental & Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull weights in the 20-60lbs.
