Job summary

Our client, an aerospace and defense company in Owego, NY, is seeking multiple assemblers to perform a range of production tasks on electronic and mechanical subassemblies. Responsibilities include assembling modules, boards, panels, and cables from diagrams, using hand and power tools, and conducting basic quality checks and testing under simulated conditions.

Candidates should have 1–2 years or more of SMT soldering and coating experience, a high school diploma, and be able to work the 2nd

Qualifications

• 1-2 years or more of SMT experience and related soldering/coating tasks.
• Ability to read diagrams/drawings and follow process specifications.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical subassemblies per diagrams and drawings.
• Use hand and/or power tools to build, modify, and test components.
• Perform continuity checks on work in process and final assemblies.
• May conduct quality inspections and assist with testing of prototypes.

Our client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for multiple Assemblers for their Owego, NY location.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
• Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools
• Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
• May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions

Requirements

• 1-2 years or more of experience in SMT, fine pitch soldering and coating application.
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work 2nd shift
