Job summary

Heyco, a PennEngineering company in Toms River, NJ, seeks an assembler to join the manufacturing team. You will hand assemble components into finished goods and operate basic tools in a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour plus potential bonuses.

You should read and follow written instructions, perform basic math, and help keep quality standards by visually inspecting outputs and collaborating with teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills for everyday calculations.

Responsibilities

• Hand assemble components into finished goods.
• Safely operate simple power tools and semi-automated equipment.
• Visually inspect parts and finished units for quality.
• Follow departmental procedures to maintain quality standards.
• Take on additional duties as directed by your supervisor.

What You Will Do

• Hand assemble components into finished goods
• Safely and correctly operate simple power tools and hand-fed semi-automated equipment
• Visually inspect parts and finished units to catch quality issues before they leave the line
• Follow departmental procedures to keep quality standards on track
• Take on other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• High school diploma or GED - or 1-3 months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination
