Job summary

Eberhard Manufacturing is seeking an Assembler for our Strongsville, OH facility. This is a 1st shift, full-time position. You will assemble products in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality, documenting production, and supporting continuous improvement within a team setting.

Qualified candidates read blueprints, use measuring tools, and operate riveters as part of the manufacturing process. Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings and work instructions.
  • Ability to use measuring instruments and inspection equipment accurately.
  • Ability to set up and operate riveters including crimp and orbital riveters.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with inspection tooling and measurement techniques.
  • Basic math skills for shop calculations.

Role Description

The Eberhard Manufacturing team is seeking an Assembler for our facility in Strongsville, OH. This is a 1st shift, full-time position.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble products and components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting productivity expectations.
  • Gather and verify all materials, tools, and equipment needed to complete assembly operations.
  • Read, interpret, and follow work instructions, blueprints, drawings, and established procedures.
  • Align, fit, and assemble parts and components to create finished products and subassemblies.
  • Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure proper fit and function of components.
  • Perform quality checks and inspections throughout the assembly process.
  • Accurately record production quantities and maintain required documentation.
  • Identify defective materials or products and follow established procedures for disposition.
  • Adhere to all quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.
  • Work effectively within a team-based manufacturing cell environment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and other technical documents
  • Ability to use measuring instruments and inspection equipment accurately.
  • Ability to set up and operate riveters, including crimp and orbital riveters.
  • Strong manual dexterity and ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Understanding of quality control and inspection principles.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with inspection tooling and measurement techniques.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to perform shop-related calculations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of one year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience working in a lean manufacturing or team-based production setting is a plus.
